A well-stocked pantry is a cooks best friend on a Wednesday night. Here is what sits on ours.

The ten things on our pantry list are: good olive oil, tinned anchovies, San Marzano tomatoes, capers in salt, aged parmesan, bronze-cut pasta, arborio rice, chickpeas, good vinegar, and dark chocolate.

Any one of these ten ingredients can turn into a meal with 15 minutes of effort. Combined with a few vegetables and fresh herbs, they form the backbone of our weekday kitchen.
