Torta di Mele with Caramel
Upside-down apple torta with buttery caramel and whipped vanilla cream.

Method
- Make a deep amber caramel in an ovenproof pan.
- Arrange quartered apples into the caramel, cook 15 minutes.
- Drape shortcrust over the top and tuck in.
- Bake at 200C for 25 minutes, invert and serve warm with cream.
